My name is Kyle Bogan, and I’m running for City Council because I believe Delaware is a truly special place. It’s where my family and I have built our lives, and I’m committed to helping it grow in ways that preserve the character and community we all love.
My wife, Kate, and I grew up in Marion, Ohio. I attended The Ohio State University while she studied at Ohio Wesleyan University—keeping us closely connected to Delaware from the start. In 2013, we chose to move here with our two children—not just for the vibrant community we admired, but also because I wanted to establish my first business.
As a local entrepreneur and small business owner, I understand firsthand how smart business development can strengthen a city. Over the years, I’ve founded and grown multiple businesses, always with a focus on responsibility and sustainability. That experience gives me a clear understanding of what it takes to support growth while preserving the values that define Delaware.
Beyond my business endeavors, I’ve had the privilege of serving on executive boards for a range of nonprofit and for-profit organizations at the local, state, and national levels. Across all these roles, I’ve remained committed to fiscal responsibility, transparent leadership, and community-focused progress. As Delaware continues to grow as part of the fastest-growing county in the nation, I believe those values are more important than ever.
Community service is at the heart of everything I do. I have dedicated my career to improving the lives of those around me—whether through providing essential care to those in need through events like Give Kids a Smile and Freedom Day USA, launching the North Orange Family Dentistry Scholarship to support students entering healthcare, or leading donation drives for Toys for Tots and People in Need of Delaware County.
I am running for City Council because I believe in responsible leadership that put people first. My decades of experience in business, financial management, and civic engagement have prepared me to help Delaware grow wisely - keeping it a place where families, businesses, and communities can thrive for generations to come.
